Theatre: A Catalyst for Transformation in a Time of Crisis, A Symposium

NJTA's Response To September 11, 2001

The New Jersey Theatre Alliance, hosted this in-depth symposium on January 28, 2002 as a response to the events of 9/11.

Generously funded by the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the evening consisted of a panel discussion and question and answer period with renowned playwrights Emily Mann, Al Carmines and Deborah Brevoort and educators Israel Hicks and Kathleen Gaffney.

Dr. Clement A. Price, Chairman of African-American Studies at Rutgers University, served as moderator.
